Kids Connect sells coffee at the Natick Farmers' Market on Natick Common and coffee and hot chocolate at the Winter Market at the MetroWest Medical Center on Saturday mornings in support of the program. The Kids Connect annual Chocolate Festival will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 from 1-3pm at the Natick Elks Hall on Speen Street. Music by "Three of a Kind". Admission $10, Seniors and children $6. Kids Connect is offering screening for behavioral/functional vision issues through a grant from the MetroWest Community Healthcare Foundation. The screening will determine if tracking or other functional issues are affecting the ability to focus in school. If an issue is found, the grant will provide glasses and/or therapy in the form of a program of exercises to strengthen and balance the muscles in the eye. If you think your student might benefit from this screening, please fill out the Vision Symptom Questionaire and then call Deb at 508-652-4211 to discuss scheduling. '... so soon, you will fly!’ cards are now available to celebrate students’ progress, offered by local photographer/designer Laurie Joy Haas as a fundraiser for Kids Connect.
